As a mom of two Disney loving kiddos, planning a trip to Disneyland for its 70th anniversary was a dream come true—and finding the perfect place to stay was just as important as the park itself. We partnered with the Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center, and let me tell you—it was the perfect choice for our family vacation.
The King Bunk Suite: A Family Favorite
We stayed in the King Bunk Bed Suite with One King Bed, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The room was incredibly spacious, which is a lifesaver when you’ve got little ones bouncing around after a day at the parks. The bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids—they felt like they had their own little hideaway, and it added a fun sleepover vibe to our stay.
The king bed was super comfortable for us parents, and the sofa bed gave us extra space for lounging or even more sleeping room if needed. One of my favorite features was the kitchenette—having a fridge, microwave, and stovetop meant we could keep snacks on hand, heat up leftovers, and save a bit on meals. It made mornings smoother and evenings more relaxed.

Amenities That Made Us Feel at Home
- Complimentary hot breakfast every morning was a game-changer. The kids loved the variety (hello, waffles!), and I appreciated the fresh fruit and coffee to kickstart our busy Disney days.
 - The outdoor pool was a great way to unwind after walking all day. It was clean, inviting, and had a nice family-friendly vibe.
 - The 24-hour fitness center was a bonus for me—I squeezed in a quick workout while the kids watched cartoons.

Location, Location, Location
The hotel is just a short walk—about two blocks—from Disneyland, which meant we didn’t have to worry about parking or long shuttle rides. We could easily pop back to the hotel for a midday break, which was a lifesaver with younger kids.
Celebrating Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary

Being part of the 70th anniversary celebration was magical. The park was buzzing with excitement, special decorations, and commemorative merchandise. Coming back to the Element by Westin each night felt like returning to a calm, cozy retreat after the whirlwind of Disney fun.
Final Thoughts…

It was the perfect home base for one of the most memorable family vacations we’ve ever had.
